Designed for RC jet planes and other double battery models. It’s designed with 2 parallel switches which are activated from one single point. Instead of turning on the ECU in one place and receiver in another. All is located in one place with the Double Magnetic Switch.
The batteries are separate so it is possible to use 3s on one switch and 2s on the other switch. It can be used as mentioned before for receiver and ECU. But also as a switch for a dual battery power unit, receiver and scale light or receiver and smoke unit etc.
The technology is of course the same safe and reliable technology with built-in failsafe function, ultra low stand-by consumption, and clean and easy on-off function, like all our other products.
We are working on a new version of our popular magnetic switch. It is designed specifically for RC Sailboads. We have had several requests for a water repellent switch. Below is our first prototype. I am very satisfied with the result so far. Testing is already starting, more will come in order to ensure a good and reliable product.
John Bitzer wrote an email to os with a wish for a switch ready to use in F5J competition gliders. Signal passthrough for Speedcontroller and redundant functionality, were some of the wishes. The final result can be seen below. Light, strong and super reliable.

I have been contacted by several interested who want more technical details on the Magnetic BEC 7A. For those who can not wait, here are a few headlines.

There has been an increasing demand for small form factor equipment in new competition planes. It’s one of the reasons why we, in cooperation with the Italian F5B team, have made this new medium size Magnetic BEC 7A. In terms of output power level it’s between the two well-known versions Magnetic BEC 14A and Magnetic BEC 5A. Piermario, my team contact, to the right and Alex his friend to the left, will the next few months test the new version of magnetic BEC. If everything goes as expected, they will be put on the webshop this spring.
The output voltage of the New Magnetic BEC 7A is 5,7V to minimize power loss and increase output power. The wires are upgradet from 0.25mm2 to 0.5mm2, same high-quality wires as the Magnetic Switch 7A.

After having built over 15 prototypes in search of the perfect linear BEC am I finally finished. I’m proud to present my two new products. The small Magnetic BEC is for DLG gliders and the large is for F3F, F3B and F3J model gliders. They are designed super slim to fit in a small fuselage. They are both out in flight test right now and will be ready for sale in about 3-6 weeks.

I’m developing a Magnetic BEC. It is a combination of my Magnetic Switch and a BEC “Linear regulator”. The idea is, that it should follow the specification from my switch ie. 7A continuous and more than 20A in peak. The first prototype is complet and testing just began.
Now all Magnetic Switchs comes with a sticker. Put it on the fuselage just above the Switch. With this sticker it will be easy to locate the switch and turn the plane on and off. The sticker is made of a ultra thin material, to keep aerodynamic drag to a minimum. Size is 14 x 43 mm and thickness is approximately 0.05 mm
I constantly look for better components for my switches. I want them to stay as the best and most stable on the market. I found a German quality cable from www.muldentalelektronik.de It is my opinion that they make some of the best cables in the world. All Magnetic Switchs will now be made with this cables. In the long term it may lead to a price increase, but for now the price will remain the same.
